How im gonna cheer up my husband?

im leaving in bangladesh and my husband is in USA.we r newly married couple.we can talk over phone,sometimes i found him very upset and when i ask him most of the time he didn't answer me and hide things.So i want to know how im gonna cheer him up without knowing anything????
