I get hit on by guys but can't get a boyfriend?

i think the guys at my school think im obnoxious but most of them are weird. the one guy i like is really popular and i'm not a nerd but the last person he dated was the prettiest girl in my grade. i really like him but he just talks to me sometimes. last year i kinda had my friend who was close with him ask him out for me and he thought it was a joke. im in middle school and i always get looked at by any guy i go. i always get at least a smile and usually checked out. this is with my mom. when i'm with my friends i get a hey whats up or something. once, driving on the bus to my field hockey game we stop and a group of guys are standing there and wave and stuff and joking with my friends i waved back. once we leave the guy screams i love you and runs and chases the bus. my coach saw the whole thing hahaha. and at youth group all these 8th grade losers hit on me and one time the parent chaperone said "geez sarah, all the guys seem to be loving you tonight". but no hot eighth graders. and no guys in my grade. help please?
