In your opinion, what constitutes "lust"?

Howdy, I'm a protestant, just FYI. Jesus said, ". . . And I say to you, if you even look at a woman to lust after her, you've already comitted adultery in your heart." (mathew 527-30) It's not just a Catholic thing, but a reality given by Christ Himself. God considers lust to be adultery. The want to do something is the same as doing it in God's eyes. The definition of lust, is desiring something that is not yours. Lust of , is of the mind. You are violating that woman in your mind. It's saying, "she's beautiful", and taking further into thoughts about . You can't lust after your wife, because she is yours, only somebody who isn't your wife. Hope that helps.
