Are my plants healthy?

Im growing some plants that are very green and frowned upon by many of the "norm" within todays Society. Anyways, 1 is just a baby and was in my window sill, I tried to cut it outta the dirt and move it. I used a spoon to scoop up all the roots, but I cut off some of it deeper down. Is it still ganna live? I put it in fresh soil and have been watering it and letting the light shine as often as possible. Its still green, but bent over. The 5 pointed leaves are starting to develop on it. Well, they were starting to show up just before I moved it. Also, I have others out in a different location. They are about 5 inches tall each, and COVERED in white hairs, all over the stem and everything. I am not an experienced grower, is this normal or has a different plant "overtook" my spot or something of the sort?
